Content Creator Resources

I make a full-time living as a content creator. But I can’t do it alone!

The good thing is that many applications and tools make creating easier! Instead of keeping these a secret, I want to share everything I use to run my business, hoping it might make this process easier for you, too.

There are many free and paid options for these tools. If possible, I like to try things out for free to see if I will use them.

This course will help you get started with setting up a blog. It will teach you everything you need to know to run a successful blog that gets traffic and makes money.

This is the course I took that helped me to monetize my blog within a year!

YouTube Success Academy

This course will teach you everything you need to know about making YouTube videos, filming and editing videos, finding titles that will get views, and so much more!

BigScoots (Web Hosting)

This is hands-down one of the best website hosting options. I moved my blog from another (less-than-good) host to BigScoots, and I am so happy I did!

Their customer service is amazing. If you have any questions, you can chat with a real person via their chat box and see what plan works for you.

Pinteresting Strategies

After taking this Pinterest course, I started getting a lot of traffic to my website! This course is quick and easy to implement, and I saw results immediately. I highly recommend it if you need more traffic to your blog.

Pinterest Group

After taking the Pinterest strategies course I mentioned above, I decided to join Carly’s private FB group. This group is amazing.

All the bloggers in this group always share the best advice and anything we should know about when it comes to blogging.

You can ask a question, and this supportive group always responds quickly with tips and tricks I would have never thought of on my own.

Epidemic Sound

If you have a YouTube channel or any social media account, you must be careful not to use copyrighted music.

This is why I pay to use Epidemic Sound. I never have to worry if I am using the wrong music, and they have a vast selection of songs that sound great.

Grammarly

Let’s be honest: I am not good at spelling or grammar, but that doesn’t stop me from writing!

Once I write something, I run it through Grammarly, and I can rest assured that it will be written correctly.  Thank goodness something like this now exists.

Camera Equipment

Here is a link to all the camera equipment I love and use daily: tripods, lighting, cameras, and more.

Teachable

I host all my printable products on Teachable. I have made courses, e-books, and products that I sell.

Adobe Photoshop

I edit all of my YouTube thumbnails with Photoshop. This is one of those apps that I love using.

Canva

This is a photo editing tool. I use this to make all of my Pins for Pinterest. Canva is also great for removing the background of a photo and adding words to a picture.

There are so many things that can be done. They have a free option and a paid option.

Kit

I send an email to my subscribers every week. In it, I share my current video and blog post, as well as anything interesting that is going on.

I use Kit, formerly known as Convertkit, to send out these emails the right way.

Tubebuddy

This tool helps you grow your YouTube Channel. It provides search results for titles and keyword suggestions and allows you to perform A/B Thumbnail testing.

If you have a YouTube channel, I highly recommend this tool, and I use it daily.
