How To Freeze Candy
Are you wondering how to freeze candy? It is very easy and cost-effective.
Most candy can last a long time when it is frozen properly.
Whenever we get a lot of candy all at once I like to freeze it so we can enjoy it throughout the year.
Usually, on Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine’s day, there is a huge influx of candy coming our way. The best way to save it is to freeze it!
How to Freeze Candy
First store the candy in an airtight container. I like to use plastic zipper bags.
Fill the plastic bag with the candy and then roll it tight to get out all the air before zipping it shut.
Now don’t forget to write the date on the bag of candy. This way you can use the oldest candy first.
To get a really great airtight seal you could invest in a vacuum sealer.
This would ensure that all of the air is out of the bag and would make your candy last the longest possible.
How Long Can You Freeze Candy
Here are some suggestions on how long you can freeze candy for:
I am sure it would last even longer than what is stated here, but over time it could lose its flavor.

Hard Candy: Usually lasts around one year frozen.
Caramel Candy: Lasts around 9 to 12 months frozen.
Gummy Candy: Can last 12 months, but tastes better if eaten sooner.
Sees Candy: Can be frozen for around 6 months or less.
