Small microwave-safe bowls
-
Parchment paper
Ingredients
-
6 donuts
-
6 marshmallows
-
7 oz white chocolate melts
-
2 oz black chocolate melts
-
6 red sour strips
-

Directions

Melt the White Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, warm white chocolate melts for 30 seconds. Stir, then continue heating in 15-second intervals until smooth.

Tint a Small Batch Orange:
Scoop out 2 tablespoons of melted white chocolate into a smaller bowl. Add 3 drops of orange candy color and mix well. Transfer to a piping bag and secure the end.

Melt the Black Chocolate:
Melt black chocolate melts using the same method as above. Once melted, transfer to a piping bag and secure the end.

Dip the Donuts:
Lay out parchment paper. Reheat the white chocolate briefly if needed. Dip the top of each donut in the melted chocolate, wiping off any excess. Place each donut on the parchment to dry.

Add the Marshmallow Heads:
While the chocolate is still soft, press a marshmallow into the hole of each donut to make the snowman’s head. Angle some differently to give each one personality! Let them dry for about 10 minutes.

Decorate the Faces:
Reheat your orange and black chocolates for a few seconds. Snip small holes in the piping bags.

Pipe two black dots for eyes and four to five dots curved into a smile.
Use the orange chocolate to pipe a small triangle for the nose.

Add the Scarves:
Fold a red sour strip in half and wrap it around the snowman’s “neck.” Use small dots of melted orange chocolate to secure the scarf in place as it dries.

Serve and Enjoy:
Arrange your melted snowmen on a festive plate and watch them disappear fast!
