Tea Party Bridal Shower

Bridal Shower Tea Party Idea
Today I am sharing my tea party bridal shower.  I love collecting tea cups so having a tea party is a great way to put them to good use.

Last weekend was my tea party bridal shower.  I am not a fan of the traditional bridal shower games so we decided to do something a little different.

To set up your own tea party bridal shower you will need some vintage teacups.  We found most of these at a vintage second-hand store.
For food, we decided on a variety of small sandwiches and cupcakes for dessert.  Oh, and of course TEA!

The two main party games were; make your own fascinator hat (like the royal wedding), and make a scrapbook page for my wedding album!

Fascinator Bridal Shower Activity

This fascinator-making activity was really fun!

Supplies:

  • Hair Clips
  • Glue Gun
  • Ribbon
  • Lace
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Scissors
  • Felt

All you have to do is pre-cut the felt into circles and separate all the supplies into different bins.

To make the fascinator you simply glue the felt circle to the hair clip and get creative with all the above-mentioned supplies!

Here is the fascinator table with lots of ribbons, lace, and glue guns.  Everyone loved this simple yet fun activity!

ScrapBook Table

The scrapbook table has lots of paper, stickers, scissors, glue, and ribbon.
Everyone was able to make me a scrapbook page and they are all so unique and pretty.
I will use these pre-made scrapbook pages for my wedding book.  All I have to do is print the photos.

I can’t wait to put my wedding album together!
Towards the end of the party, we opened gifts and I just loved everything I was given!
I can not wait to set up my own house!

Everyone dressed up for the tea party and most of us made our hats (fascinators) to match our outfits.

Here is everyone showing off their fascinators and I think a few people might even bring them to wear at the wedding when it gets crazy towards the end!

My friend made me this kitchen supply wedding cake gift.  Use rolled-up towels, a cutting board, and some spatulas!

3 days till the wedding
Can’t wait!!!
