There are many things in life you can easily do without pre-planning but going on a vacation is definitely not one of them. If you are thinking about a holiday in the near future then you should be looking into vacation planners as well.
In today’s article, I’m going to discuss the reasons why you should plan your trip carefully and share an awesome budget vacation planner with you too!
Vacation planners are becoming quite popular
It’s no secret that these days traveling has become slightly more challenging. This article from Forbes explains it perfectly. While we all want a break from the chaos going on, it’s become more important than ever to make sure you plan your trip right down to the last detail.
It’s not even a mere suggestion anymore. It’s pretty much mandatory! You definitely want to make sure you find a good vacation planner before you jet off to holiday-land.
Vacation planners are growing in popularity because it’s not so easy to travel anymore nor is it easy to shift gears if you missed something. You must be prepared for your vacation if you want to have fun, relax and enjoy it.
Having a trip itinerary will save you a lot of trouble
Not only is having a vacation planner a super good idea, but you should also have a trip itinerary as well. Some planners have this already included (like the one I’m going to share with you!).
You will need backup plans on your trip itinerary in case an attraction is closed.
The unfortunate reality of traveling these days is making sure you have a backup plan so you don’t end up being angry, stressed, frustrated, and hating your vacation. Restrictions are still in place for a lot of things so you certainly need to make sure you have Plan B in place.
Let’s get to the benefits of having vacation planners!

1 Budget your vacation activities
It’s important to do your research (hello Tripadvisor!) to find out how much things cost and remember, some things may be closed. You may end up either saving money on excursions or spending a little more.
Set a budget but allow some wiggle room just in case.

2 Plan for unexpected issues
You’re probably wondering how on earth you plan for unexpected things that arise considering they are, well, unexpected, right?
You can do this by putting a bit of money aside for emergencies, having an alternate excursion planned if one doesn’t pan out, leaving some time open in case of traffic jams or illness. Keep some time slots open and some extra money on hand just in case.
3 Ensures you have everything
There’s nothing worse than forgetting something at home and having to purchase it while away.
Some of these little things can add up fast and are usually quite costly in tourist places.
This is where your vacation planner checklist comes in handy. You won’t miss a thing!
4 Your trip itinerary is done!
If you did your homework (you did, right?) you will have already found all the sweet spots you want to go to. By doing this, you won’t have any regrets because you “didn’t have that on your trip itinerary!!” and you’ll have seen all the things you wanted to see.
Try to leave a few hours free though in case you discover something magical that you hadn’t heard about!
5 No hidden costs/fees
While it’s important to put money away for emergencies, if you plan your trip properly, you won’t be caught up in hidden fees or costs for things.
It’s a really good idea to join some Facebook groups of the place you are traveling to get more info on the actual cost of things. This way, you are well informed and better prepared.

There’s nothing worse than going on a vacation and having it ruined because you failed to plan it out. Save yourself a ton of headaches and heartaches and get a planner! Grab my budget vacation planner here now!
